New York State of Mind - Saturday
Some of us went all out sightseeing, visiting the Empire State Building, Metropolitan Museum of Art, and "Ground Zero".  Of course, since we are a bunch of women, some of us made a pilgrimage to Mecca.  That's Bloomingdale's if you don't know.  I get hot & bothered just thinking about it. Excuse me for a few minutes as I cool myself off..... Whew, I'm back. Where was I? Oh yeah, we also went to Times Square; it really wasn't scary being there any more. And saw the lines of squealing teenagers awaiting their turn on MTV's TRL.  That's "Total Request Live" to the uninformed.   Aren't I hip? Not. And of course, we all got a taste of that famous New Yawk style pizza. Finally we all went to dinner at the Trattoria Dopo Teatro, where we met up with Mary Anne and the other 2 ladies from LonggggIsland (I just love that).  Managed to cram the meal down our nervous stomachs, pose for some pics and then head on over to "The Play".

Alright, this actually happened on Sunday, so sue me.  One last time on Times Square with the gang before going home.
